For our grip glove to work to its full potential there are a few things that are very important to bear in mind.

  • Ensure the clubhead is 90 degrees in relation to the target. Just because you are holding the grip in the correct place this will not govern the clubface itself being in the correct position before you start your golf swing.
  • When gripping the club, you must have all your left hand on the golf club, leave at least 1cm from the end of the club for a normal set-up.
  • Both thumbs should be past your index fingers when gripping the club, but in a relaxed manner, as this creates more stability in the swing.
  • Lastly, placement of your left hand is very important. The badge of your glove must point at the horizon somewhere between the target and the sky to give you the best chance again of getting the clubface back to a square position or 90 degrees in relation to the target.

The glove itself is made from a leather/synthetic cross. It is a soft material, which ensures there’s no compromise on feel and quality. We have tried and tested 64 different material combinations before arriving at this final version.

How Get A Grip Works

Here is a demonstration of how to get the best use out of our grip training glove.

Always ensure the clubhead is 90 degrees in relation to the target, and that all of your non-dominant hand is on the golf club. The placement of the non-dominant hand is very important. The badge of the glove should always point to between the target and the sky, to ensure the clubface strikes the ball cleanly at 90 degrees. Both thumbs should be past your index fingers when gripping the club, but in a relaxed manner, as this creates more stability in the swing.
